On a hillside in Los Carneros, early morning fog meets sunny afternoons to create ideal growing conditions at Fork in the Road Vineyard.
Like the classic vintages of Burgundy, our wine is made as naturally as possible, letting the vineyard and its terroir shine. From late winter pruning through early autumn harvest, the work is done by hand. Unfiltered, unfined and with minimal manipulation, the grapes dictate the ultimate wine style - sumptuous yet balanced with a crisp minerality, reminiscent of the Old World, yet distinctly Californian.
2018 Rosé of Pinot Noir
2018 Rosé of Pinot Noir
In the morning fog of San Pablo Bay, Pinot Noir clones Calera 90 and Dijon 777 were hand picked at 22.7ºBrix, weeks before our traditional Pinot Noir harvest. Field blended, then wildly fermented with minimal manipulation during the winemaking process, the grapes produced a Rosé rich with natural, refreshing minerality, perfect to toast the highlights of summer.
