Inspired by the heritage Chardonnay vines on site, the estate vineyard was established in 2010. Through hands-on farming practices, we have continued producing remarkable wine from these original vines. To take further advantage of the exceptional growing conditions here in Los Carneros, Pinot Noir vines were planted in 2011. They are now thriving alongside the Chardonnay thanks to the cooling influences of San Pablo Bay throughout the heat of summer.
Like the classic single vineyard vintages of Burgundy, our wine is made as naturally as possible, letting terroir and each vintage’s fruit drive the ultimate wine style. Wildly fermented and barrel aged, there is minimal manipulation throughout the winemaking process. The results are Chardonnay and Pinot Noir reminiscent of the Old World, but distinctly Californian.
